Co-working space: BETA Lab

Co-working space: BETA Lab

Check out our dedicated BETA Lab co-working space on the City Campus, where you can work on your entrepreneurial idea or startup project. Need help or advice? Our BETA team of entrepreneurship and innovation specialists are right next door.

BETA Lab is a drop-in co-working space where you’re more likely to connect with other students working on startup projects who are keen to offer support, ideas or a sounding board. You can also get help and advice along the way from the AUT BETA team, located next door.

Accessing BETA Lab

Drop into the BETA Lab any time during opening hours – you don’t need to book ahead. If you want to use the space for a big group, an event or for a regular slot, contact us or pop in to discuss.

Opening hours

The BETA Lab space is open:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 5pm

Facilities and equipment

The BETA Lab is a physical co-working space with hot-desking facilities as well as some permanent workstations, a projector and video conferencing camera/mic.

You can use free AUT wifi as usual.

Support from the BETA team

The BETA team is located in the office right next door to the BETA Lab, so you can drop in for a chat during our team hours. You can also book a startup chat with us if you want to have a more in-depth discussion about your project or idea.

We can offer advice and direction if you’re stuck with your idea or need support with your project.
